I really am interested in hypnobirthing for my next delivery. With Katrina, I was in active labor at home for fourteen hours before I went to the hospital (even though contractions were very regular, I thought I had to wait because they were ten minutes apart), and the pain was awful. Actually, when I got to the hospital and they sped up, they actually lessened in pain and I wonder if I could have actually handled it without the epidural. I don't mind getting epidurals, but I'd like to be prepared next time for the pain that comes before it!
