Colorado School of Mines
Wrestling team
Last weekend we went up to Golden because Mr. Idaho was receiving a special award from the Colorado School of Mines, where he is a student. That's his wrestling coach with him and Dani and a sleeping baby Garrett.
It was supposed to be nice weather up there,
and it would've been too,
if the wind hadn't been whipping down the canyon.
We all stayed bundled up.
Mr. Idaho was being recognized by his coaches
because
* he always gives his best
*he was worthy of the NCAA All-American Academic
it was also noted that
*he is the only husband
and
*the only father
on the team.
We're so happy for you, Mr. Idaho.

That baby is something else! (Mr. Personality, perhaps?)
ReplyDeleteAnd as for Mr. Idaho, the guy clearly rocks!
=)
What a great honor for your son-in-law. Congratulations to him and congrats to you for having an ADORABLE gandbaby. Just like Sue, before me, Mr Personality is the title Garrett holds. He is so dang CUTE!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to proud mommy and grandmommy!
ReplyDeleteThat's an achievement, don't get me wrong. But secular schools don't seem to realize that being a husband and father makes for better students and better athletes. See? He's proof.
ReplyDeleteWow!!!!! Congrats. That is really exciting.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, your grandbaby is just the cutest little thing! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat is a really neat honor!
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought you wrote the School of MIMES - ha ha Can you imagine.

They are such a cute little family to boot!
I can hardly stand how cute that baby is! And Congrats Mr. Idaho!
