was mixed:
Dean was here, courtesy of Mr. W driving
over an hour to Loveland to pick him up Friday night--
I love having Dean home.
Yesterday,
the 4 youngest yahoos
and Mr. W and I went to see
"Iron Man 2"
and KFC cooked dinner for us.
That was the good stuff.
I hit a rocky patch
with two of my older yahoos
but
Then this morning I was greeted by
breakfast in bed:
an omelet and fresh fruit, bagel and OJ (extra pulp!)
and then this:
The Caboose, Boofus, Daisie and Dean
welcomed me to the
~"Momza's Day Salon"~
I was blind-folded for the whole thing.
Should I read something into that?
Cucumber stress-relief eyepads
covered by a cool eye mask.
I asked outloud,
"Anyone know if eyeballs can freeze?"
Ahhh the footbath too...
Boofus had some fun
with my fingers and
toe pads
Dean loved rubbing my tootsies with
this foot scrub stuff...
Daisie coached Dean painting my toes.
Glumps are no big deal today.
Different mask...they put on some really nice instrumental music and
I played
"Name that Tune"...
love story
Another day in Paradise
Alfie's Song
Fascination
theme from Dr. Zhivago
cool stuff
I so could've taken a nap,
if there hadn't been so much
giggling.
The Caboose gave it a go
Like I said, glumps don't matter today.

Mr. W has donned his barbeque apron
aka his jeans
and is cookin up dinner.
And pie...
there's even pie.
Then I have a four hour round trip ride
to take Dean home tonight.
Life is good.
Wow! Your kids really did hands on pampering - I LOVE it!! Great pictures :D
ReplyDeleteI think I love most that your son painted your toenails! He is going to make some woman a great hubby one of these days :D
Happy Mothers' Day!
What a pampering session you got! You are a lucky Momma. Hope you have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome! You're a loved mom.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Was there lots of giggling? I think there would be lots of giggling at my house.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Well deserved for a hard working Momza!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wdonerful and fun day! I bet there was no shortage of laughter!!
ReplyDeleteHow charming! :-)
ReplyDeleteMine did a spa like that one year, and it was the BEST Mother's Day I ever had. Sadly, they never repeated that particular gift package.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had such a neat day.
=)
The spa treatment looks pretty good to me. I considered doing the whole Saturday Mother's Day thing, but forgot my husband was working. Oh, well.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Crazy as it is (and frozen eyeballs aside) they must love you so much!
ReplyDeleteYou are so spoiled!! And I am so jealous! :-) My mother's day was not quite so indulgent. But I did get some really good cake. We actually celebrated tonight since I am now home with all my kids. No spa though.
ReplyDelete@Joy: I sure wish I'd known you were around the corner from me this weekend! I'd have had to meet up with you somewhere in between! As for the spoiling, I think you may be right.
ReplyDelete@Braden: There was alot of giggling going on to be sure!
@Charlotte: Anyday is good to celebrate!!
@Sue: I let them know it was the best gift they coulda given me...the Royal treatment!
@Sarah: It wasn't boring that's for sure!
@Liz: Best laughs came when they were all painting my nails...hands and feet...I could actually feel the polish being slathered on, dripped on, and smudged...it was wild with my eyes closed!
@Moody: why, thank you sister!
@Amy: I highly recommend this! Let me know how it turns out for you!!
@Lisa, Rainy Day: Thanks so much for your kind comment. It's good to be Queen for a Day.
@Cherie: Well the pics don't lie. And as for Dean, he is my special-needs son, so he won't be getting married in this life. But he went to town on my feet and loves to serve!
