Missionaries + Water Balloons = Good Clean Fun!

It all started July 11th, twenty-one years ago. The day Elder Nevels was born. The Celebration continued at our house Saturday...starting with breakfast of crepes and strawberries and later that night it ended with the following:
Posted on the Front Door. reads: "grab your guns and come to the back"

These were laying on the porch, each labeled with their "rappers names": Merdur and Lunch Money

My poor attempt at graffiti. It says "Word: Lunch $ "Legal" --he's 21 now.

We had 250 + water balloons and silly string ready...

The Bee had her stash.

Boofus taking cover.

With his personal stash.

Scenes from the fight!

When the water-balloons were gone, the hose was used!

Both hoses.

Soap with your shower, Dara?

E. Macy (Ohio) and E. Nevels...with his "ugh, I'm no longer a teenager look."

Like I Said, Good Clean Fun!

  4. You are so one of those families that the missionaries talk about for years after coming home. And I think it's wonderful!

  5. This is great! Not sure a shirt and tie is water ballooning attire, but doesn't look like they were too concerned! And nice try at graffiti. You need to go out and practice with spray paint on a wall though so you can perfect it!

  6. FUN! Have you sent their moms your blog address? I send our Spanish missionary's moms a photo and a hello about once a month. They are SO happy...(I know how it feels!) Great idea.
