One of Doris Ella's teensy guardian angels
That pinecone Santa was one in the dozen ornaments I gave Mr. W the first day we met.
We have 6 of these tiny antique nativities...they're at least 50 years old.
Another handmade ornament I gave Mr. W way back when...
We have loads of bears on our tree...especially the Bear Foots bears
Another Aspen tree elf
Colorado...well, yeah. of course. See that carved bear in the canoe? That's one of the ornaments Mr. W gave ME the first time we met. And that IS a Pink Jinglebell Pig that Dani sent home from her mission.
So this is our family tree...
I'll put up my froo-froo tree tomorrow!
I think we decorate similarly. I even have two of your same ornaments!
ReplyDelete=)
YOu have such a fun, eclectic tree!
ReplyDeleteCan I just tell you that every time I click on your blog I get happy, knowing that music I love is coming along with your post.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
I have a feeling that the different ornaments on your tree bring back good memories. Each year that I open my Christmas boxes, a flood of emotions and memories overcome me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your tree with us!
Love your hodgepodge of decorations. It looks a lot like mine. Years of collecting them has given me way to many to choose. I love the fact that your tree is up already. Mine is not even close. I sometimes despair of ever getting it done. One of these days I will do it.
ReplyDelete@Sue: Which ones?? How wild is that?
ReplyDelete@Kristina: Thx--we get new ornaments every year for each child, and when that child gets married, they take them with them. And there are only two ornaments that are identical.
@jen: Thx, Jen! Music is a gift, isn't it?
@Connie: You're so right, Connie. Each one is unique and most have stories.
@PattyAnn: I have loads of helpers to get the tree up! I bet you will too!
I love the bears! I would probably pick your family tree over your froo-froo tree! But I'm just a country gal. LOL
