Cultivating An Attitude

First, go turn off the music at the bottom of this page,
then, Enjoy!

Today I am grateful for:

My husband, Mr. W who gets up before the sunrise and comes home after sunset
to go to work for our family.
I'm thankful he has a job this year, for in our married life, we have had Christmases where that was not so,
and those were tender, fragile times.
I'm grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and Redeemer and my truest, dearest Friend.
I love my family. And I'm so grateful for their health and strength today. Each of my children have taught me more than I could've ever learned on my own:
the meaning of sacrifice, the euphoric moments of Joy, patience and persistence,  and on and on.
I'm thankful for my own health, even with memory problems, I can still live a happy life and do things that bring me joy, like taking care of my family and working, hiking and camping--all those good things.
And special thanks today for everyone whose sent kind messages of encouragement and understanding this past week regarding Dean.  It means so much to me.
And I'm thankful that today is the Sabbath, a day of rest.

  1. I'm grateful today is the Sabbath, too. And I'm looking forward to the First Presidency's Christmas message tonight!

  2. Love this thoughts. Listened to them this morning and they are so true. I hope everything is better with Dean now. I hope that you are feeling better and most of all I hope that you feel His love and guidance in your life. He is aware of your difficulties and will guide you through them.
