that children live here:
The Boofus' duct-tape slippers in the bathroom.
The Caboose's sleeping buddy, Isabelle, tucked in bed.
The Caboose lines up her favorite Build-A-Bears Friends' alongside her bed,
because she gets scared at night, and they keep her safe, dontcha know?
Barbies all dressed up to play in the front room.
Barbie bathtub in the kitchen,
just in case,
ya know.
what?
please tell me you know.
Mis-matched gloves on the table...no partners found.
And an empty cream-o-wheat bowl.
Hey, at least it's empty.
And yes,
a Hippo in the livingroom.
You thought I was kidding?
We were laughing yesterday how, if we lived anywhere but here, our kids would lose gloves instead of flip flops. See? I was right!
ReplyDeleteSo next post, add a picture of you pulling your hair out, then we will for sure know that you live with teenagers...... Love ya, NAN
ReplyDeleteYou are so real, I love it. A very well lived in home, you can just tell love lives there.
ReplyDeleteheehee
ReplyDeleteLove the hippo in the living room. (I miss those days...)
=)
That was great! My son used to duct tape his shoes too.
ReplyDelete:) I love this, and I'm looking around and realizing that every room in my house has its tell-tale signs. (ours has a bunny in the living room though... the hippo is in the closet)
ReplyDeleteI opened my freezer once and found a tupperware container with a The Incredible Hulk frozen in ice, inside. I just closed the door and left him there. I've learned not to question these things, ya know?
ReplyDeletehahaha! I love that. And I hope you are enjoying those little messes. The only person in my house that makes messes anymore is me. No one else is home long enough to do anything. So sad.
ReplyDeleteGiven the amount of Christmas decorations still sitting out in my house, one might assume that elves live here. Love the hippo, btw.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!! I have the same problem with the gloves. They problem is that they are all different sizes, so you really can't mix and match! Love the hippo. We have those darn littlest pet shops all over my house. They are fine until you step on them!
ReplyDeleteOh, this made me smile. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI was a little worried for a second, cuz you are just off the wall enough to have had some massive sized, icky skinned creature in your living room.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't everyone have barbie tubs on the counter. You should have put in a fruit arrangement!
Wow, the photos are awesome. I just wonder why there's a hippo in the room.
ReplyDeleteHilarious. It is pretty obvious over here at my house, too. I sometimes wonder what the kids are thinking when they put things were they do.
