Weekend's Here! WooHoo!!

This has been one
very long week.

I was ready for the weekend on Tuesday.

Dani and Mr. Idaho are coming for a sleepover tonight
with my adowable grandsons.
n'
We'll have a housefull tonight
as we get together with friends
whose son is leaving for a years' tour of duty
in Afghanistan
tomorrow.

Then,
tomorrow morning,
we're having the sister missionaries over
for breakfast--
which Dani is cooking her special
apple-cheddar pannycakes and apple syrup.

After that, there will be much play and frolicking
with grandsons and Mr W--
who is a devoted member of Garrett's posse,
along with Joseph and Ari.

And I do foresee a nap in there too.
I love Saturday naps.
N' Sunday naps.
Naps are wonderful.
Say yes to Naps.

What about you?
Big weekend plans in your corner of the world?

  1. Sounds like a great weekend in store for you!

We have a mixture of happy and sad things. A funeral today, a wedding tomorrow, and ward conference on Sunday.

    Lots going on.

  4. Sounds like a very fun week-end at your house.
You should share that apple cheddar pannycake recipe along with the apple syrup. Sounds wonderful.

This weekend is our Stake Conference and we are having an apostle here for the first time in 30 years. I believe it will be Elder Russel M. Nelson. So pumped!

    Enjoy your family time.

  5. Yay naps! We went to the famous "fish fry" and I'm officially addicted to piƱa coladas. Ww did some shopping today and floated on inner tubes and we are going home tomorrow. Next weekend won't be nearly as exciting but it will be VERY good to get home. I'm honestly tired of the constant party atmosphere here.
