That is so cool!! How fun!! What an awesome calling! Okay, I just started to tell my husband and I started crying. I am so excited for her!! And how cool to participate in the pageant and all the going on's there!
And August 8! Kathryn doesn't go in until October 3!! am so jealous. :-)
@Lori: I think we've all been a bit emotional today. We are all feeling grateful for this opportunity. I've been told there are over 350 missions worldwide, and Diana gets to go to the place that it all began. That's pretty amazing to us. And, as you can tell from her face, the Aug 8th report date surprised her too!
okay so I have no idea where it is she's going (apart from it being in New York), or what she'll be doing there, but I am nevertheless so very happy for her indeed :-) I was kind of worried she'd be heading somewhere like Haiti!
OH MY GOSH!!!! She is going to LOVE it! We absolutely fell in love with upstate New York when we visited there. I don't know if you guys have ever been to Palmyra before but Oh my gosh it is seriously the most beautiful little town with such an incredible spirit there. Congrats, Sister!! You'll be amazing!
Shedding a few tears for you over here. Another NY missionary. She will love every single second. I just wish that she was going to be there when we're headed there this summer.
We've never been to NY, other than stopping in at an airport to go other places like London or Montreal, BUT we are so excited for the historical sites Diana will get to experience.
My name is Sally. I don't know why it has me as unknown. I'll look into that especially since I just sent you another message about what she can expect when she gets there :)
That made me smile!! How exciting.
ReplyDeleteThat is SO wonderful! How very very happy she is--perfect!
ReplyDeleteWe will be there ourselves in a couple weeks for a quick visit. :)
