I Wear My Sunglasses at Night

My last post with a musical title. Mr. W and I went to a movie. Without the kids. And I am embarrassed to admit this, but we haven't done that in years. True story. Years. We can't even remember the last time we went alone to a movie.

So, we went to dinner and a movie. We saw Star Trek. And it was really a good movie. I would even see it again!

So yeah, don't follow my example...don't wait years to do something so ordinary as go to a movie with your sweetheart. That's just ridiculous.Like wearing sunglasses at night.

  1. My family went to Star Trek tonight, too. I did not go with them. (I was engrossed with a book and am not much of a trekkie.)

They did love the movie, though!

  3. hey, good time out! :-)

we went see STAR TREK as well; surprisingly good considering that we're not Trek fans at all. lokks to be the start of a new franchise.

also, it was surprising to see Sylar and Shawn in the same movie ;-) they DID pull it off!

    anyhoo, glad you had fun,

    thanks for sharing,

  4. HEY! My hubby and I went to Star Trek and out to dinner, too! Dude, babysitting is expensive! (We paid a girl in our ward to watch the kids instead of the normal swapping.) My parents took us and my sister and her hubby. It was way nice. I really liked the movie, too, even though I'm not really a Star Trek fan.

  6. Congrats on going to dinner and a movie with the hubster! It's always nice to get away, though I wouldn't really remember what that's like, either....
I mailed your package yesterday, and when I get around to it, I'll send you the tracking number and all that jazz. Hope you like the stuff!
