Jeff and I have a "joke" we say when feeling overly frustrated and ready to give up... "I'm going out for cigarettes." Just because of all those stories of "the last time I saw him, he said he was just going to run and get a pack of cigarettes... he never came home."
When I was growing up my dad wanted a laptop....that was back in the day when they cost 5 times more than our rent. My mom said that if he ever got one it would be his cue that she was kicking him out and he wasn't welcome back to the house.
Still to this day, our family laughs and when we have one of these days with each other we tell each other.....Here I'm giving you a laptop!
Of course now, both my parents have shiny laptops. And they are happily married. So funny....hang in there today....and if you wander away for a few hours....it's okay, you'll be missed so much when you return. Cause we always return don't we ;)
I'll post on the blog when baby comes. Thanks for your tips.
i LOVE your Blog! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

We always used to joke that we were running away to the beach to sell snow cones.

So, wait, I am NOT the only one who feels this way? Wow. Sometimes I am amazed that anyone still has a mom.

That was my day yesterday. So my day.
ReplyDeleteIs it bad that I have one of "those days" once a week? If only there were somewhere to run...
ReplyDeleteI have those days, too. Maternal instinct vs. survival instinct, right?
ReplyDeleteTell me where you're hiding and I'll join you!
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's awesome. Maybe I'll frame it.
