Better.
Dean's host home family reports he had a good weekend
with them
at their house.
So even when I didn't know where he was sleeping
last weekend,
Heavenly Father made sure he was taken care of
and that eases my mother-heart.
Work is going better, actually.
New manager equals some changes,
but it's all good.
It's furniture and froo-froo stuff,
for-cryin-outloud
not brain surgery.
I got this.
All of the yahoos are healthy this week.
'Nuff said about that!
The Caboose wrote her Santa letter--
in 4 columns
because we practice the
Four Gifts of Christmas
and the yahoos know I need ideas to pick from,
so they use four columns.
The Caboose's was HI-LAR-EE-US...
I'm gonna have to scan it and post it
because it's too good not to share!
It's 17 days 'til the man in the red suit arrives
and I've got things to do--
ya know,
to make the magic happen around here.
Mostly, though,
I'm okay with flying by the seat of my pants
laying my faith at His feet,
and trusting that tomorrow is going to be
a really really good day.
Who am I to expect otherwise?
I am confident you will make the magic happen!!! You are that kind of mother. I love the 4 gifts idea. What a wonderful tradition.
ReplyDeleteI was most happy to read Dean is doing well with the new host home and I know that makes all the difference to you. Praying he continues to be happy there and well taken care of.
Can't wait to read Caboose's list!
Blessings,
Cheryl (buffalo gal)
Hope it's all smooth sailing for you now, Dawn...right through the holidays and beyond!
ReplyDeleteHugs.

@Cheryl and Sue: Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI just read your post about what happened with Dean. I am so sorry. So sorry things were hard - awful. So sorry that they gave him so much medication when he did not need any at home. But I am so glad that things look up this weekend. I hope it stays well. Dean deserves the best, better than the best. We will pray for him and for you. Love you guys! happy holidays!
