I was messing around with settings--
and then I accidentally made my blog
private this morning.
Oops!
I shouldn't be allowed to have so many buttons.
Hope every one has had a lovely New Years Eve and Day!
As for us,
well it's been a great coupla days!
Yesterday
we hit the climbing walls at
City Rock Climbing Gym--
took loads of pics that I have yet to upload,
but
the kids had a blast
like the little curtain climbers that they are!
We all went out to dinner at
mmmm Chili's...yummm
and then came home
snuggled in our pj's and watched movies together
until we couldn't keep our eyeballs open.
This morning,
Mr W made us all breakfast,
and the girls and I hit the Mall for some
awesome sales!
Ate lunch at Thai Basil--one of the girls' fav places--
and Voted BEST OF here in the Springs...
love their Panang chicken!
And Mr W and the Boof Dog are out
looking around at "boy stuff"
at Gear-an-amo and REI and places like that.
And me,
well the house is quiet because everyone else
is off visiting friends,
and I'm contemplating
my 2011 Year Plans...
I saw on someone else's blog
the idea of making "plans" not resolutions...
and I'm sorta running with that idea.
Plans sound more concrete and still
optimistic,
yeah?
So my plans are taking shape
and I'm thinking this 2011
could turn out to be pretty dang neat.
First plan:
take John Lennon's advice:
Let It Be...
and John Mayer's Advice:
Say What Ya Need to Say
and Popeyes:
I yam what I yam
and that's all that I yam!
And Lee Dewyze sums it all up--
Sweet Serendipity!
Bring it!
I think I'm off to a good start, hunh?
What about you?
Any great ideas or plans bouncing around your noggins?
Sounds like you are having a great holiday season. And I love your plans for the new year. I might have to incorporate them. It sounds like I can just relax, be what I am and not stress out about changing much of anything. Sounds good to me! :-) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteMoms I doubt my year won't be nearly is as exciting as yours.
ReplyDeleteGlad to be able and comment and tell you I think you are wonderful.
I missed being able to comment. I am glad you are well. Yesterday's post really made me feel bad for you..
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are planning for a good and well-adjusted 2011. :)
